Originally from Illinois, Magda pursued her education at Moraine Valley, focusing on General Education, Pre-Veterinary studies, and Psychology. She later expanded her knowledge at Forester Institute in Costa Rica, where she immersed herself in Latin culture.
As a Veterinary Technician, Magda plays a vital role in patient care by assisting the doctor with diagnostics and sample collection. Her passion for veterinary medicine was deeply influenced by the loss of her beloved dog to lymphoma. This experience ignited her desire to better understand pet health and support other pet owners. She has a special place in her heart for senior animals and is dedicated to keeping them happy and healthy for as long as possible.
Outside of work, Magda enjoys traveling, taking weekend getaways, watching movies, and discovering new restaurants. She shares her home with two beloved pets—Bunny, a Shih Tzu, and Mustache, a Persian cat. A fun fact that surprises many is that she speaks Polish!
Looking ahead, Magda aims to further her expertise by enrolling in continuing education courses focused on heart health in pets, reinforcing her commitment to providing exceptional care.
